Hormonal Modulation
Hormonal and non-hormonal contraceptives can affect people very differently. While one method may be well tolerated by one person, another may experience unwanted physical or psychological side effects.
Hormonal Modulation investigates the biological and psychological factors that shape these individual responses.
By identifying biomarkers linked to treatment effects and side-effect profiles, the programme aims to support more personalised contraceptive choices and reduce the need for prolonged trial and error.
