We are pleased to announce that the Hormonal Intelligence Initiative (HII) has officially joined the MenoBrain consortium, an international Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network funded through Horizon Europe, and now serves as the consortium partner for the Salzburg node.

MenoBrain brings together leading research institutions across Europe to investigate how hormonal changes during the menopausal transition influence brain health, cognition and mental wellbeing. The network combines expertise from psychology, neuroscience, endocrinology, neuroimaging and computational sciences to train the next generation of interdisciplinary researchers.

As the new consortium partner, HII will host two doctoral candidates over a three-year period, providing the scientific environment and supervision for their doctoral training while contributing to the network’s collaborative research programme.

This marks an important milestone for the Hormonal Intelligence Initiative and reflects our growing role in international research collaborations dedicated to advancing hormone research and improving our understanding of brain health across the lifespan.
